Nann Pizza

 

                             

A create-your-own pizza activity. Half the fun is choosing the ingredients you love. Amounts are approximations. BHL

Ingredients:

4 Nann flatbreads (usually in packages of two in white or whole wheat)

2-3 Tbsp Flying Olive EVOO of Choice. We especially like Garlic, Basil, Rosemary, Tuscan Herb or a Flying Olive Dipping Oil of Choice

½ -1 cup of your world famous spaghetti sauce, if desired

Chopped or sliced condiments such as fresh tomatoes of various colors, green or black olives, pepperoni, cooked chicken or other meat, grilled onions, peppers, etc.

1 cup sliced fresh or shredded mozzarella cheese, more if desired

Fresh or dry herbs, chopped

A Flying Olive dark traditional balsamic of your choice such as Flying Olive 18 Yr or older balsamic vinegar

Directions:

This is a fun project where everyone can make their own pizza. Prepare all the condiments, slicing , cooking, or cutting them so that they will all be done cooking or heating at the same time.

Brush the nann with a little Flying Olive EVOO of Choice. Place the condiments on the nann . Sprinkle with cheese and herbs. Place on a piece of aluminum foil or in a pan if using the oven.

Heat the grill or oven to high or 400 degrees.

When ready to grill or cook, turn down the heat. Bake until the cheese melts and the toppings are bubbling. Watch carefully to be sure that the bottom of the nann doesn’t burn. If this starts to happen, move the pizzas to one side, turn off the heat under the pizza but keep the other burner on.
