Irish Flag Salad

Green, White, and Oranges!  BHL

 

 

Yield: 4 servings

Salad Dressing:

4 Tbsp Flying Olive Blood Orange Extra Virgin Olive Oil

4 Tbsp Flying Olive Sicilian Lemon Balsamic Vinegar

1 ½ tsp honey

1 tsp grated orange peel (reserve the orange for the next part)

Pinch of Salts-of-the-Earth Hawaiian Sweet and Salty sea salt*, or regular sea salt, optional

Salad Ingredients:

1 pkg (6 ounces) fresh baby spinach

2 medium pears, thinly sliced

2 medium oranges, peeled and sectioned

2 Tbsp chopped pistachios or other nuts of choice

Directions:

Whisk the dressing ingredients together. Refrigerate until ready to construct the salads.

Divide the spinach among four plates. Top with the pears, oranges, and nuts. Drizzle the dressing over each salad. Serve immediately.
