Easy Parmesan Cauliflower

Cooking this in the microwave is such a great, quick idea! I usually measure the cauliflower into the same bowl as I microwave and serve it in. Barb L.

Serves: 4


1 pound cauliflower florets, about 6 cups

¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper

Approximately 1 Tbsp Flying Olive Extra Virgin Olive Oil of Choice. A few suggestions: Lemon, Garlic, Gremolata, Tuscan Herb, or Herbs de Provence.

¼ cup whole-wheat or plain bread crumbs

6 Tbsp freshly grated Parmesan cheese


Place the cauliflower florets in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 7-8 minutes or until soft. Check about halfway through cooking.

Remove the cauliflower from the microwave. Toss with the Flying Oive Extra Virgin Oive Oil of Choice. Add the crumbs and Parmesan cheese and toss again until well incorporated.

Divide the cauliflower among 4 plates or pass as a side dish.
