Layered Caprese Salad for Two


1 or 2 large beefsteak or heirloom tomatoes sliced. One red, one yellow for more visual enjoyment!

5-10 fresh basil leaves

1/2 mozzarella cheese ball sliced thin

Flying Olive's 18 year Traditional Balsamic Vinegar and Flying Olive's Garlic, Basil or unflavored EVOO of your choice


For each salad, start with a yellow tomato slice. Place in the middle of a plate. Top with a basil leaf, then a slice of mozzarella cheese. Place a red tomato slice next, continuing until the ingredients are used. Drizzle Flying Olive's EVOO of choice and 18 Year Traditional balsamic over stacked pieces.
