Green Beans with Prosciutto, Thyme, and Almonds

4 Prosciutto slices (1/4 oz)

1-1 ½ Tbsp Flying Olive Herbs de Provence, Thyme, or a Single Varietal of Choice

1 Tbsp fresh thyme, divided

1 lb green beans, trimmed

2 Tbsp sliced, toasted almonds

¼ tsp black pepper

Pinch of kosher salt


Preheat broiler to high. Place the prosciutto slices between paper towels and microwave on high for 1 ½-2 minutes or until crisp. Break into pieces.

Place the Flying Olive Extra Virgin Olive Oil of Choice on a rimmed baking sheet. Add 2 tsp and the trimmed green beans on the baking sheet and toss to coat with the oil and herbs.

Broil 5 minutes, stirring every few minutes until crisp tender. Place the bean mixture on a platter; top with the prosciutto, sliced toasted almonds, the remainder of the thyme leaves, salt , and pepper.
