All Purpose Greek Seasoning for Veggies

 

 

                                     

                                                                   Delicious on asparagus ...                                                                 or  broccoli

 

 

Make the whole recipe of this great mixtrue when you've located all the spices in your cupboard and use as needed .  Great for Veggies, Meat, a marinade, or Pita Bread.  If you just want a little for this recipe, divide into fourths.  Barb L.

Yield: About 1/3 cup

Ingredients:

2 tsp salt

2 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp white pepper

1 tsp dried dill

1 tsp dried mint

1 tsp dried basil

½ tsp dried thyme

3/4 tsp cinnamon

½ tsp nutmeg

1 tsp cornstarch

Directions:

Mix all the ingredients together and store in an airtight container in a cool dark place. Shake or stir before using.

For a Greek Veggie or Salad Vinaigrette:

Mix 2 tsp of All Purpose Greek Seasoning mix with 2 Tbsp Flying Olive Lemon, Gremolata, or a Single Varietal of Choice Extra Virgin Olive Oil.  Add ½ Tbsp fresh lemon juice. Taste and add more lemon juice, salt and pepper, to taste. Top a salad, asparagus, green beans, or broccoli.
