Quick Black Beans

Make these as spicy as you wish by adding more or less Flying Olive Cayenne Red Chili EVOO, or passing it for each person to add.

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients:

1 can (15 oz) black beans, undrained

2 tsp onion powder

1 Tbsp Flying Olive Jalapeño or Oregano Balsamic

½ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp ground cumin

½ dried oregano, Mexican oregano preferred

¼ tsp (my wimpy serving) -??? Flying Olive Cayenne Red Chili Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Cooked rice, if desired

Chopped cilantro

Cheese of your choice such as cheddar of Monterey Jack

Directions:

Place all the ingredients in a saucepan. Simmer until hot. Adjust spiciness by adding a few drops of Flying Olive Cayenne Red Chili Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Serve over Cilantro Lime Rice or regular rice. If desired,sprinkle with chopped cilantro and cheese of choice.
