Grilled Portobellos with Sesame and Balsamic

These can be used as a side dish or appetizer. I especially like them with steak. Chuck L.

4 large Portobello Mushrooms

2 Tbsp Flying Olive Honey Ginger Balsamic or a Plain White Flying Olive Balsamic

2 Tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

1 Tbsp Flying Olive Toasted Sesame oil

Remove and discard the stems from the mushrooms. Whisk the remaining ingredients in a small bowl.

Brush both sides of the mushroom caps with the sauce mixture. Grill the mushrooms top side up on a covered grill over medium heat for 2-4 minutes. If they singe a little, it is ok.

Brush the tops with more of the sauce mixture. Turn them over, carefully and cook another 2 minutes.

Baste again, then flip the mushrooms over again. Continue to grill for another 3-4 minutes or until tender.

Remove from the grill. Cut them diagonally into 1/2 inch thick slices. Serve on a plate.
