Flying Olive's Green Baklouti Pepper EVOO is Very Hot and fruity. This EVOO is spicy with the fragrance of green bell peppers.

Originating from the Barbary Coast of North Africa. Baklouti Green Chili Olive Oil is made by combining one gallon of EVOO with 1.6 pounds of fresh whole green Baklouti chilies. The two are crushed together, fusing the fresh green pepper with the olive oil to make a hot and delicious agrumato.

Flying Olive's Green Baklouti Pepper EVOO complements bread, eggs, meat, pasta, pork, poultry, rice, salads, seafood, soup, vegetables, grilled meats, jambalaya, chili, and crock pot meals.

This green chili oil pairs well with Flying Olive's Blackberry Ginger, Black Cherry, Wild Blueberry, Dark Chocolate, Cranberry Pear, Espresso, Fig, Grapefruit, Honey Ginger, Neapolitan Herb, Peach, Pineapple, Pomegranate-Quince, Raspberry, Cascadian Wild Raspberry, Serrano Honey, Sicilian Lemon, Strawberry, Aged Dark Traditional Vinegars.

Bob K. used Baklouti Green Chili EVOO to baste the wagyu packer brisket. He applied a special rub and smoked it on a kamado grill for 12 hours at 225 degrees.

Some ideas for the use of this product:

Before cooking, sauté dry rice until translucent.

Perfect with couscous and other North African dishes.

Use to sauté, grill or add to salsa. Combine with any Flying Olive balsamic vinegars above for a great marinade.

Pair with Flying Olive's Pineapple Balsamic Vinegar for one of our customer's favorite combinations to use as a vinaigrette, or marinade.

A great idea from a customer: Make hummus with your usual recipe but use Flying Olive Lemon EVOO instead of your usual Flying Olive Single Varietal of EVOO. Drizzle Flying Olive Baklouti Green Chili EVOO or Harissa EVOO over the top for a nice spicy kick!
